Oscar Mayer retired its Wienermobile™ vehicles in 1977, but the public's enthusiastic response to one of the vehicles brought out for the 50th anniversary of the program in 1986 convinced the company to build a new fleet.

Fiber-Tech was proud to be chosen to create six, 23-foot-long fiberglass hot dogs in 1988 and has since made five additional vehicles, all of which are touring throughout the United States.
